About Me

I am Jan Świdziński, a computer graphics researcher at IDEAS NCBR and a current master’s student in Computer Science at Warsaw University of Technology. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Creative Computing from the University of the Arts London.

My passion lies in working with visuals—creating, designing, enhancing, and automating diverse digital experiences. I am deeply interested in design, architecture, 3D development, machine learning, and cognitive sciences. Driven by a desire to merge creativity with technology, I aim to develop interactive and intelligent systems that push the boundaries of digital visual creation.

My recent contribution ...

 Facaid rendered street scene

FacAID

A neuro-symbolic transformer-based model designed to convert static, segmented facade images into dynamic, editable procedural representations using a custom-designed split grammar. A transformer model to translate flat facade segmentations into procedural language. Combining the precision of procedural generation with the adaptability of neuro-symbolic learning, FacAID sets a new standard in automating facade design and customization.

3D Development

I began my journey with Blender in the first year of my studies, fascinated by the limitless possibilities of precisely expressing my creative ideas onto a digital canvas. Over time, I sharpened my skills, exploring various techniques and styles. Blender has become an essential tool in my creative arsenal, that allows me to bring my concepts to life.

Through dedication and practice, I've created numerous projects that showcase my versatile abilities. From low-poly modelling to dynamic animations, each piece reflects my growth and passion for 3D art.

Coding

About My Coding Journey

I began coding in the third grade, after I found a leaflet with the title "Do you play video games? Instead of playing them, build your own!" And that's how it started.. Over the years, I've tried various programming languages and frameworks, ranging from machine learning and data analysis, to web development and interactive inforgraphics.

My passion lies in creating innovative solutions that merge functionality with aesthetics and user experience.

Here are some of the projects I've worked on
